In depth

Verdict

Try Catch Me was a long way ahead of the disappointing Beauchamp Viking on identical terms at Fontwell last month and there seems no reason why the placings should be reversed here. Apache Dawn is a long-standing maiden over jumps and a pound out of the handicap here while Aviso was pulled up over C&D when last seen in July, though that was a much more competitive affair. ROLL THE DICE tackles fences for the first time and hasn't raced since finishing tailed off over hurdles at Warwick in March but he has a chasing pedigree and this isn't the most difficult of starts. He looks the one to beat.
