Verdict
WINGULL should come on for his recent run at Uttoxeter and is selected. George Baker's gelding was a tired horse when second to Kilkenny Star on his chasing debut but he had jumped well in the main and gets the nod. The Brimmer is another unexposed chaser but he was only third because Celestial Halo and Rougham fell at the fourth-last. Rimini, a winning point-to-pointer, was a winner at Plumpton over hurdles last time and is hugely respected, whilst course winner Kristallo, the well-handicapped War Party and the lightly-weighted Turn Up all contribute to a competitive handicap.
