Verdict

Venetia Williams’ stable is starting to click into gear so the returning Cuban Pete is worth a market check. The four-year-old Jean Genie is due to go up 5lb for last week’s second at Ffos Las so is potentially well treated with Charlie Price’s claim taken into account, though she’s still seeking a first career victory. Summit Like Herbie chased home a coupe of subsequent winners at Ffos Las so has to go on the shortlist but THE OGLE GOGLE MAN could also give supporters a run for their money as the soft going will aid the cause of this dour stayer, who is back on a winning mark.
