Verdict
The Seamus Mullins-trained Our Jolly Swagman looked an improving chaser when beating Pettree and General Claremont at Chepstow earlier in the month and is taken to defy the rise in the handicap to do so again. The selection has taken time to find his feet over the larger obstacles but has done so with a vengeance in recent starts with a win at Newton Abbot proceeding his Chepstow victory. A 6lb rise since then looks far from harsh and the eight-year-old should be able to confirm his superiority. Former smart hunter chaser Joint Account has not been at his best over the last year but is potentially well treated on a mark of 114 and rates as the main danger to the selection. Mary Reveley's Sad Mad Bad is another that has slipped to an attractive mark but has always ben difficult to win with and is probably best watched.
