Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card with many in form rivals in opposition including Bold Bishop, El Vaquero and Lotier and the confident vote goes to Bold Bishop. The gelding from the Kevin Bishop yard has been in fair form of late and a reproduction of his latest second behind Monvilez would make him hard to beat. El Vaquero rates the main danger he is from a yard in top form and he was a fair third behind Blue Derby last time. He is sure to have come on for the run and will not be far away. Lotier is also worthy of respect he was second behind Manly Money and he looks sure to be suited by the drop in trip. Of the remainder Stanway has place claims on his best form but looks as if he would be suited by further so we are happy to stick with Bold Bishop.
