        Verdict

        The Exception is running over his best distance and is almost guaranteed to run his race again. Considering he was trapped wide last time, he did well to finish a close-up fourth with Sacco and Vanzetti almost two lengths adrift. Little Guy has been showing his best form over a mile and Ed’s Dog also drops back down a furlong, though was placed over 6f at the start of the year. LUCKY RUNS NORTH should be approaching peak fitness after a couple of recent outings. He just missed out over an extended 6f last summer so this trip should be within his range.
