        Verdict

        Degas Away is bred to be better than he showed at Fair Grounds in February. A Day With Chris is an interesting newcomer but also drawn wide. West Side Warrior covered plenty of ground when well beaten at Gulfstream Park last month but had shown promise here previously. A drop in grade and a short break since being gelded should benefit Lastfortinofamily, who also has the rails to help, but FINALLY (NAP) was doing good work in the closing stages on debut and normal progress should see the Carpe Diem colt go close to landing this.
