In depth

Verdict

GUNS OF LOVE and Kirbys Glen occupied the places behind Desperate Dex at Huntingdon and there is very little to split the pair. The fact that the latter can't get his head in front hands the initiative to Robin Dickin's charge and he can take this very moderate affair. Rince Donn ran quite well behind Lerida at Huntingdon and has dropped to a fair mark though he's another who finds it difficult to score over fences as a strike-rate of 1-29 testifies. Mujamead probably ran his best race to date over fences at Southwell last time though that isn't saying much and Beauchamp Viking has fallen in his last two races over the bigger obstacles.
