Verdict

Lost History has changed stables since last seen in the summer of 2021. The Rain King was beaten eight lengths by all-the-way winner Professor Calculus here nine days ago and the latter should be thereabouts again, despite his penalty. Modreeney was challenging when falling at the last here in December and second at Ffos Las three weeks ago and Broomfields Cave looks a threat to all on his latest third over track and trip. It’s taken a while for CAN’T BEAT HISTORY to adjust to new surroundings but he was only beaten a head when well backed at Doncaster eight days ago and races off the same mark today.
