Verdict
DOUCHKIRK doesn't always find a lot off the bridle but finished ahead of favourite Captain Sharpe at Stratford last month and re-opposes on identical terms. He may be good enough to hold off Exeter third Kozmina Bay as the latter hasn't raced over hurdles since winning a novices' handicap at Uttoxeter in December, though has had a couple of runs on the all-weather. The remaining trio would all need to improve on recent form to figure.
