Verdict

It's a surprise to find Ian Williams entering a four-year-old here and dual all-weather winner Lucky's Dream will need to show much more than he has so far over hurdles. Karl Marx won this last year on heavy ground and is a pound lower but could do with plenty of rain. MICRAS keeps climbing the weights due to her consistency and, though she doesn't win often, her two latest placed efforts have been at a higher grade so it's about time she was winning again. Veiled Secret makes a quick reappearance after just failing to catch Bazarov over 2m3f at Huntingdon last week. That was his best run over timber and a similar effort will see him in the mix. Atlantic Grey's only victory came in a Newton Abbot seller but Sadma wasn't beaten far at Wincanton and will be suited by the conditions.
