Verdict
Tea Time Fred won over a longer trip over hurdles at Stratford in May and was then second at Newton Abbot. But he’s had a break and didn’t distinguish himself in points earlier in his career. Hannibal The Great did win between the flags as a youngster but has been pulled up in both start under rules over fences which leaves BELLS OF AILSWORTH. A winner twice over hurdles, he’s surely better than he showed when tailed off on his chasing bow at Chepstow – his yard is in much better form now.
