Verdict
This is a competitive race, and Blue Momma stepped up significantly on her hurdles debut when second in selling company at this course last time. She steps up in trip today, but Martin Pipe's charge may struggle to make the same impact in this better company. Tina Tyne is a consistent sort but was well beaten in a claimer at Hereford last time and is probably not up to winning at this level. Correct And Right was not beaten too far behind the smart Moneytrain at Cheltenham recently, and although not quite living up to that form she still shaped reasonably well at Wincanton and should be a leading contender here. Colnside Bonnie improved on anything she had achieved previously when chasing home Ask Me What at Bangor last time. If she could run up to that form she would have a leading chance here, but reappears very quickly and may be best watched for now. Maiden Voyage is likely to have plenty of supporters having chased home subsequent scorer Jenga at Ludlow last time, but she was staying on well at the death last time and this drop back in trip is not sure to be in her favour. We'll take a chance with Another Diamond. Twice a winner on the flat last year, she shaped with a good deal of promise on her hurdles debut at Ludlow, staying on nicely into fifth place behind the Cheltenham Festival entry, North Point. That form alone is good enough to take account of most of these rivals, and with the step up in trip likely to suit Another Diamond looks a solid bet.
