In depth

Verdict

Moonshine Surprise, Present Glory and Carte Sauvage are three against the field in this novices hurdle and the vote is given to Present Glory. The selection was a fair second on his debut this season behind Ryhall. He is sure to have come on for the run and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Moonshine Surprise rates the main danger as he looked a fair sort in points is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and represents a top yard that is in good form so he should be monitored in the market. Carte Sauvage is another worthy of respect on his best form but he lacks the scope of the principals and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Zouave has shown some ability in his last two runs but has given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and for the winner we return to Present Glory.
