In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to drum up much enthusiasm for any of this bunch but Karl Marx hasn’t been beaten far in recent start at Fakenham and Wincanton, though is still edging up the weights. Tierra Verde has been showing steady progress in maiden and novice company but the assessor has taken no chances on his handicap debut. Mick Channon does well with his small team of jumpers and ZOLTAN VARGA’s first run in a handicap produced a close-up fourth at Market Rasen. He’s been dropped a pound since and Bryony Frost’s claim is also in his favour.
