In depth

Verdict

Samtara has had wind surgery since pulling up at Worcester in may but regular pilot Harry Atkins takes off 10lb again. Swaffham Bulbeck is back at a more realistic level after being pulled up in the Greatwood at Cheltenham but AMELIA’S DANCE is back on her favourite track having run well in both starts this campaign. David Pipe’s pair, Bashful Boy and recent winner American Sniper, also go on the shortlist while Individualiste should be approaching peak fitness and won here in March. Kempton fourth Samuel Spade is also worth a second look but Inferno Sacree has had a break.
