Verdict

Dormouse had no problem winning the same race at Warwick for the second year running last week. However, he's much better going left-handed and a 7lb penalty here makes life that much tougher. Taste The Wine has disappointed since finishing second at Hereford in August while Bollin Judith's lack of a recent run has to be a concern against race-fit rivals. Educated Son could go well after a recent outing on the Polytrack but JODAWES has also been in action on the level and will strip fitter here. It's interesting that Gary Moore is going down the handicap route as the five-year-old is still qualified for novice events. His second to Balder Success at Plumpton in January suggests he has a big chance at the weights today. The lightly-raced Sirius Chesnut was second at Stratford last month but this is more competitive.
