In depth

Verdict

New Millennium made much of the running when third at Ludlow last month and this track is similar in nature. Elysian Prince was beaten in a seller at Stratford, however, while Hill Fort turned in a shocker last time. Goal has won around here and still pops up now and again, though usually in lesser company. CANICALLYOUBACK (NAP) runs over hurdles for the first time since May but has dropped 11lb in the weights and has been running well enough over fences to suggest he can figure in a race like this. Status Quo should have more to offer so is preferred to Ludlow runner-up Oscar's Song, who has proved expensive to follow.
