Verdict

Roxane Bruere has been knocking on the door and is still at the right end of the handicap. She should make the frame again while last month's fourth at Fontwell was arguably Time Book's best effort so far over hurdles and this former Flat winner warrants a second look. Spinning Waters won three times on the level last year but has been a shade disappointing over timber. He has ability, however, and is another for the short-list though may struggle to beat CLEVER DICK off level weights. David Pipe's gelding has been sent off favourite on his latest two starts but couldn't handle the heavy ground at Fontwell last time and is worth another chance.
