Khachaturian got no further than the first flight in the Triumph Hurdle last time and as that may have effected his confidence preference is for Ocean Pride, with Artadi rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was capable on the flat when with Richard Hannon and has shown respectable form over hurdles since joining David Pipe. With the better ground today to help him, Ocean Pride looks worth a bet. King's Head was a useful performer on the level when with Michael Jarvis and could be of great interest on his debut over timber on his first outing for Gary Moore. Remember Ramon is hard to recommend having been well held on his debut over hurdles for Phillip Hobbs but may be better than that outing suggests, while Monte Major is hard to recommend on all known form. The Paul Nicholls-trained Artadi may do better than on his first start for new connections but Ocean Pride has the pick of the hurdles form and he gets the vote to open his account over timber.
