In depth

Verdict

Monday’s easy Market Rasen winner Timeforwest has a penalty to carry but Jack Savage reduces his welter burden by 8lb and this is not a great contest. Phar Away Island was a surprise winner at Chepstow earlier this month and has another 8lb to carry, though the promising Harry Teal again rides. The now-blinkered My King and Triopas probably have each-way claims but AVITHOS has been in good form around here since the turn of the year and it was a better race in which he finished fourth 10 days ago.
