In depth

Verdict

Realta Dawn was winning over hurdles for the first time in 21 attempts when scoring at Wincanton. He’s been raised 7lb and winning partner Jack Tudor is unable to claim his allowance under today’s conditions. Arty Campbell won on the Flat at Chepstow in August but never figured back over timber at Exeter earlier this month while Truckers Tangle has failed to build on placed efforts over fences and remains without a win over timber. Ourmullion looks high enough in the weights but MIDNIGHT MIDGE is not badly treated on a second over 2m here back in March and Chris Down’s charge gets the vote to make a winning reappearance.
