In depth

Verdict

Honest John may struggle to complete the hat-trick now stepping out of novice company but DEIREADH RE is certainly worth a second look. He's lightly raced over fences and has won off a higher mark over hurdles under Harry Derham - soft ground is ideal. Fine Parchment was still in front when unseating today's amateur rider at Fakenham last time. Very well treated nowadays, he could go close here if his confidence hasn't been affected while Rigadin de Beauchene has been placed off today's mark at Newbury and Lingfield recently and makes more appeal than Inside Dealer and the inconsistent Take Of Shoc's.
