Verdict

It is a concern that Hugos Other Horse was withdrawn from a race at Ascot a couple of weeks ago when the ground turned heavy. Broken Quest justified market support returning from a long absence at Ludlow but this is a much more competitive affair and he will have to overcome an 8lb rise. Dell' Arca looks to be back in the handicapper’s grip but there should be more to come from Colonel Manderson and FRATERNEL. The latter pair are having their first run in a handicap and both should be suited by stepping up to 3m. Ridgeway Flyer likes sharp tracks and also has a squeak.
