In depth

Verdict

Le Musee has won eight races including a hat-trick on the Flat last year. He's been here twice and won both and was returning from a very long break when mid-division in a Newbury Class 2 handicap last month. Taste The Fear was in cracking form in the summer, winning three times, and is just 2lb higher than his last success. Tip Top Cat's two recent Exeter victories have been at a lower grade but Jersey Wonder has been performing in better class though ran poorly at Kempton last month. TIME TO TINKER (NAP) is on the upgrade and defied mistakes to score at this level at Wincanton, completing a double initiated here. He's only been raised a pound so a hat-trick looks on the cards. Alrightjack followed an easy victory at Fontwell with a fair effort in a better quality race at Newbury and can get into the mix.
