Verdict
REX IMPERATOR (NAP) was racing from a mark of 110 when runner-up in a Windsor Listed contest just over a year ago and is now on 83. He's been tried over 7f recently but this is his trip and it's about time he was winning again. Greeb will prove a real threat after just failing to hold off Lexington Abbey in a similar event at Nottingham, though he could have done without a 4lb rise. Vallarta takes a step up in class after his victory at Ayr but the last time Ambitious Icarus ran on ground this fast he won at Beverley, though it was a much lower-grade handicap. It Must Be Faith shot up the weights after winning three times in the autumn.
