Verdict
A three-year-old won this last year and Twitch, from the up-and-coming yard of Hugo Palmer, will be supported to make a successful handicap debut after scoring on ground faster than she would have enjoyed at Pontefract. Classic Villager reverts to Turf after scoring at Lingfield though the longer trip and 9lb extra may scupper his chances of completing a double. Gleese The Devil is still a maiden but hasn't been beaten far from this mark in his last three starts but it's his stablemate PIN UP (NAP), another without a victory, who can take this. She had three all-weather runs last season and showed potential and was returning from a long break when a very unlucky loser over this track and trip last month. Michael Bell's Instant Karma has been highly tried in two handicaps this spring after landing a Pontefract maiden in October.
