Verdict
A handful of maiden winners are looking to land their first handicap including recent Yarmouth winner Hay Chewed. But RACE HUNTER's victory at Catterick is arguably stronger form and she can be forgiven a poor effort in the Albany at Ascot last time. David Barron's filly gets the tentative vote ahead of Lorimer's Lot, another dropping in class after being well beaten at Ascot though she did finish ahead of Sandsman's Girl at the Royal meeting and the latter had earlier beaten Classical Diva at Redcar. Winning debutante Madagascar Moll has plenty of scope and an apprentice's allowance in her favour so could go well.
