In depth

Verdict

Shesastar is back on a winning mark but has done all her winning over shorter trips so far. New Falcon is another with something to prove over today's distance but Lilac Lace scored over a mile at Redcar on her reappearance. The latter should be in the mix again, despite a 6lb rise, and Ice Pie is worth keeping an eye on having won on her racecourse debut at Lingfield in December. LADY OF THE HOUSE faded in the final furlong on her comeback at Doncaster last Saturday but Kevin Ryan's filly should be a sharper today and she gets the vote to return to winning ways.
