Verdict
GRAND DIAMOND is a worthy candidate for top honours. Focail Eile and Glenridding are forwarded as others to bear in mind. Glenridding is a prime candidate to set the tempo and, having gained a deserved success here at the last meeting; he has nothing to fear from this course. He does, however, have a bit to prove from his career highest mark and has it to do under the burden of top weight. Focail Eile has enjoyed a good season and is reliable enough to consider as a saver option. Cut in the ground suits him ideally and he can make life tough for the rest. However, Grand Diamond has been banging on the door for quite some time and his trainer, Jim Goldie, appears to have found him a reasonable opportunity to gain some just reward today.
