Verdict

WATERMELON SUGAR was a very easy winner in this grade at Leicester and the gelding proved that run to be no fluke when following up at Southwell next time out. Makhan King has winning course form to his name albeit the handicapper rates him some 26lbs inferior to Archie Watson’s inmate. Capall Mear drops into selling company for the first time having been available at big prices on all five starts so far. Ubahha started off life with the Gosdens but Antony Brittain has been unable to find the key to him in 15 starts for the owner-trainer.
