In depth
Verdict
Presidential will not be suited by 6f on fast ground and Bossipop also looks up against it today but Abate justified market support to beat Swissterious a length-and-a-half at York, though the runner-up is now 5lb better off. MUSCIKA also got back to winning ways on the Knavesmire last month and in a better race than this. He has gone up 4lb but was running well off similar marks last year so there is every chance of a follow-up. Intrinsic Bond has more to do than at Doncaster but is less exposed than his rivals so there may be more to come though, like East Street Revue, he’ll probably have to come down the centre of the track.
