Verdict
Kaymich Perfecto, Typhoon Ginger and Qualitair Wings are three against the field in this competitive opener and the tentative vote is given to Kaymich Perfecto. The selection has been in fair form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest effort which saw him finish fifth behind Kelucia in a better race last time stets the standard and with the drop in grade sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Typhoon Ginger rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Qualitair Wings. However that rival should gain his revenge on these revised terms and for that reason he is opposed. Qualitair Wings is sure to have his supporters but he is hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Epicurean is one of the least exposed in the field so has plenty of scope for improvement but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Iskander and Juste Pour L'Amour are from shrewd yards and should be closely watched in the market but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to the consistent Kaymich Perfecto.
