      Verdict

      MUSTIQUE made a successful debut at Ripon in August before well beaten in a Group 3. She made a promising comeback earlier this month and looks on a low enough mark to return to winning ways. Kommander Kirkup beat a big field over the course and distance in April when the ground was soft but finished last at Haydock last month. Foreign Diplomat has won here so should be respected along with Manatee Bay, who won a minor handicap on the course last May. The Commendatore was making his Turf debut when making all and staying on strongly at Nottingham and though 8lb higher he's still progressing and should make a bold bid again. Eastern Racer was in very good form at this time a year ago and looked on the way back at Doncaster in April.
