A decent fillies' maiden opens proceedings, with more than half the field racing for the first time, but we'll side with experience and opt for BELLE ROYALE, in preference to Yarooh and Dolly Parton. With so many newcomers though, do pay heed to the market, as that may give us further clues. Mark Brisbourne's filly is the most experienced, with three runs to date, all of which have seen her run prominently. She's got a handy low draw, and if cracking out well may be able to score while others are still acclimatising themselves. In contrast, Clive Brittain's Yarooh has the worst of the draw. Again, she likes to be at the vanguard, and has looked lively in her couple of outings to date. A second place on debut at this level was followed up in a much better grade when she was just outside the frame. Market support for Dandy Nicholls' Dolly Parton, another who may try and bounce out in front, would encourage us, given the improvement shown from debut to second time out. Royal Hush represents Kevin Ryan; she could be anything and doesn't have a great draw, but the yard do well here. Nothing really stands out, given the number of debutantes, but our support goes goes with Belle Royale.
