    Verdict

A competitive field for a decent purse and all eight have landed a success over the trip. Fox Duty Free is quirky but rattled up a Lingfield hat-trick in the winter only to disappoint when back in action last month. Azano and Young Fire, preferred in that order, provide the O'Meara team with a strong hand but FLYING PURSUIT gets the nod. He handles soft ground and still looks on a feasible mark after his recent Ripon success. Course and distance winner Queen's Sargent is not ruled out and Another Batt is well handicapped if able to rediscover his best form.
