Verdict
Majorca has been a shade disappointing but looks to have an easy opportunity here and is a confident selection to beat Taaqaah and Swainsworld. This very expensive son of Green Desert has been a beaten favourite on his last two outings but may have come up against some decent types. He was runner up behind Alderney Race at Leicester last month and that winner ran a blinder in the feature race at York on Saturday. He possibly under performed at Haydock next time, but the race may well turn out to be quite decent quality. Taaqaah looks to be the major threat to the selection having finished runner up to Woody Valentine on his final outing of last season. Swainsworld is another to consider following a promising debut effort behind Mutamared over course and distance. Of the others Three Ships hails from a strong stable and should be noted in the betting, but Majorca deserves another chance and is taken to oblige.
