Verdict

Richard Fahey’s yard has a fine record in this contest and TORO STRIKE (NAP) returns to action with every chance. He went close in the Group 3 Supreme Stakes in August and should have the edge over Motakhayyel at the weights. The latter won the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket when last racing over today’s trip and and makes more appeal than Ostilio, who would prefer softer going. Pierre Lapin looked a potentially smart two-year-old when winning the Mill Reef but struggled in three outings last term and has been subsequently gelded while Azano and Hey Jonesy look up against it.
