Verdict

Ay Tay Tate is the tentative suggestion although it's hard to fault the chances of Motor Home. The selection has started at 100-1 on both outings but there's little chance of that happening this afternoon following his five length third to a Royal Ascot bound colt at Doncaster. It's early days for the form but there seems no reason to doubt the form and the sixth ran well in defeat at York at the weekend to give it some substance. He's well enough drawn, has the benefit of experience and may just be a bigger price than his form merits given his trainer who only saddled the first juvenile winner of his career earlier this month. Tim Easterby has won two of the last three renewals, one with a favourite and one with an outsider, and he saddles two this afternoon. The Kilkenny Kat has shown more but Holst has been given a break since debut and tackles a trip more in keeping with his breeding this afternoon. Motor Home was no match for the talented Orizaba on debut but followed that with a decent effort at Goodwood; the form looks solid enough. Blusher and Suruor enter calculations and there are some likeable newcomers to bear in mind but we'll be cheering Ay Tay Tate home.
