Verdict
Hypnosis, Aegean Dancer and River Thames are the three to look at in a wide open affair, with River Thames looking the best handicapped. Unlucky at Musselburgh, Hypnosis made amends for that misfortune when justifying favouritism at Catterick last time, and off only a three pound higher mark can go well. After wins at Carlisle and Thisk, Aegean Dancer ran well in third at Beverley last time, although the handicapper may now have him in his grip. River Thames ran an encouraging race on his re-appearance here, finishing a close fourth, but disappointed at Goodwood over a furlong further. Back to the minimum trip here, and seven pounds better with Aegean Dancer for a two and a half length beating, River Thames can resume winning ways for the in form Kevin Ryan yard.
