Verdict
If earlier races have gone to plan, SOLE DANSER can provide Barry Hills with his third maiden winner at the meeting. He looked in need of the race at Ayr when a losing favourite on his seasonal debut and his fourth at Chester last year is the best form on offer in this contest. Thatcherite produced his best effort so far when third at Catterick but will need another step forward to get his head in front, while there should be more to come from The Buska and Amaze. Salik Tag is related to four winners and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
