      ZAC BROWN showed progressive form in three juvenile outings at York twice and Ripon, performances that put him way ahead of this opposition and David Barron will surely have him sufficiently tuned up to take advantage of what rates a gilt-edged opportunity to lose his maiden tag. Escaping Midge is dropped dramatically in trip after showing little in two starts over much further, so newcomer Blaze It looks the likeliest threat and the market should indicate confidence levels behind the son of Captain Gerrard.
