Verdict
Honey Ryder will be a warm order to take this opener and we see no reason to oppose her, with Consider This and Cerebus the ones for the frame. The selection is a debutante sent out by David Loder, who does so well with these two-year-olds. This filly is bred to do well at the trip as a juvenile and even though Loder has not exactly been firing the winners in just lately, there does not look anything special to beat and the Lowther Stakes entry can score. Consider This and Cerebus have little between them on racecourse form so far, and both can fight out the minors. Mark Brisbourne-trained Consider This will prefer getting back on this fast surface after failing to follow up a decent debut effort last time, and she can go well again here, while Cerebus can show better than when tying up in the closing stages on debut at Newmarket last time and can go well for Stanley Chin. Even so, David Loder has an enviable record with his two-year-olds here at Thirsk and that can be added to by Honey Ryder.
