      Verdict

      Muveran was making good progress on the all-weather at the end of last year and is definitely worth a second look on his reappearance but this may be a good opportunity for ALETHIOMETER to resume winning ways. Michael Dods’ filly was only beaten a length at Redcar in October having opened her account here earlier and starts off in handicaps on a decent mark. Recent Kempton winner Royal Aviation is still heading in the right direction and Pontefract third Ba Na Hills also has a chance and can confirm Newcastle running with subsequent Redcar second Come On John.
