        Verdict

        It's difficult to know what to make of FELICE, who was a long way out of the handicap when springing a surprise at Southwell. She can race here with a penalty and, as she's lightly raced, she gets the vote to continue her progress. In Vino Veritas has one or two good runs to his credit but is still a maiden after 17 career starts. The Lock Master reaches his 100th run today and is looking for his 13th victory though he hasn't won since completing a hat-trick last spring. Rochambeau ran a bit better on fast ground at Catterick last time but Gabrial's Hope is still looking high in the weights.
