Verdict
Swinging Eddie ran well at Newcastle when last competing over 6f and finished in front of Loretta, who gets a change of headgear on her first outing since. Lucky Lodge finished ahead of ALAMEERY when fourth at Ripon recently but the latter led for most of the way before tiring on his first outing since December and Adrian Nicholls’ unexposed charge can come out best with further progress on the cards. Jem Scuttle has something to find with the selection and Moretti has proved best over 7f so far while it was heavy going when Bevsboy won a lower grade contest at Catterick back in October and Carlovian is preferred.
