Space War won on the Polytrack in May but hasn't raced over a trip this short since 2014. Llewellyn ran poorly last time at Carlisle and Tavener has become disappointing but Bold Spirit won on soft going at Catterick last month and will be thereabouts if handling the quicker surface. Fyrecracker's latest third at York is easily the best form on offer but he has the weight to match. SAFE VOYAGE has shown promise in a couple of maidens this year and a mark of 67 looks fair on his handicap debut. He has more scope than any of his rivals.
