In depth

Verdict

ALAMBRISTA floundered in the soft going when sent off favourite over 1m2f at Brighton on last week’s reappearance. A half-sister to several smart stayers, this extra distance will suit Sir Mark Prescott’s filly. Wor Willie and Clansman may also improve for this longer trip but Ventura Kingdom finished a distant third at Redcar on an earlier attempt at today’s distance. Olympus will be sharper for a recent comeback and gets a change of headgear.
