In depth

Verdict

Ard Mhacha looked a potential future nursery winner until a poor run at Naas while Pulse Light has performed better than his form figures suggest in his last two runs at Bellewstown. Shangrilama has been finding 7f too short but finished behind Catwalk Couture at Naas last month and the latter should come out on top again. RATTLE AND HUM started favourite for a Galway maiden on his debut but didn't quite get the run of the race. He was then impeded in the early stages of the Super Auction Stakes at the Curragh and the run is best ignored so he could be the one to beat. Village Voice is out of a mare who won over this trip while The Winker and St Faz have had experience in Dundalk barrier trials.
