Verdict

Willie Mullins won this a year ago with Skorcher and will be hoping for a repeat with Quaquo De Flotte though the Limerick bumper winner has been looking very one-paced over 3m. Jack Bene has been in good form and his close second to Archie Meade here last time was a very good effort. He should be in the firing-line but NOBLE PAGEANT can finally get off the mark. John Neilan's charge has run well on his last two starts at around this trip on testing ground at Limerick and conditions are in his favour. He had Railway Vic just behind last time and there appears no reason for a form reversal but Skibabe improved when stepped up to 2m5f on heavy going at Tramore on Sunday and further progress will see him in the shake-up.
